Team members leave Rotorua Lakes Council either by resigning or through one of a variety of types of non-disciplinary termination (medical incapacity, restructuring/redundancy, abandonment of employment, retirement etc) or through a disciplinary process including dismissal for behavioural or performance reasons.  Each of these avenues has its own processes and issues for you to manage. The  Kia Tū sections concerned will help you manage all forms of exit effectively and efficiently.  In all cases, except for straightforward voluntary resignation, you should discuss the situation with Organisational Development and Capability before any decisions are made.
